Relative Permeability Data for Supercritical CO2 Displacing Water

Rock samples were collected for sandstones (Viking, Ellerslie and Basal Cambrian formations), for a shale (Calmar Formation), and for carbonates (Wabamun & Nisku groups and Cooking Lake Formation) from core stored at Core Research Centre facility of the ERCB in Calgary, and used for relative permeability and capillary pressure measurements for CO2 and formation water systems.

General sample and test information is presented in 2 tables (siliciclastics and carbonates). These tables contain links to the relative permeability data for each sample.

Details on the experimental protocols and additional data are published in SPE Papers 99325, 99326 & 95547.

XRD and XRF analyses also were performed for the tested samples.
