Soil survey of Midland Provincial Park and interpretation for recreational use

Executive Summary

This report is one of a series describing soil surveys conducted in Alberta provincial parks and recreational areas. As well as the Midland Provincial Park, soil surveys were conducted in the Buck Lake region southwest of Breton and the Dillberry Lake Provincial Park study area southeast of Chauvin, during the summer of 1978. Soil profiles at 24 sites in the Cypress Hills were described and samples collected for laboratory analyses.
